Microsoft's surprising Japan success continues.

Microsoft's Xbox 360 has sold more than Sony's PS3 for the third week running in Japan.
Latest figures from Media Create show that for the week ending September 28 the PS3 sold 8,275 units and the Xbox 360 sold 11,291 units.
The 360 is enjoying unheralded success in Japan. It outsold the PS3 for the entire month of September, buoyed by the release of 360 exclusive RPG Infinite Undiscovery. The Media Create figures show that the PS3 was outsold by the PS2.
However, the two 'next-gen' consoles were once again dwarfed in terms of sales by the Nintendo DS Lite and the Wii, which took the top two spots. Sony can take solace in the fact that the PSP continues to sell well in Japan, coming in at third.
The hardware sales in full:
DS Lite - 57,847
Wii - 26,314
PSP - 25,671
Xbox 360 - 11,291
PS2 - 9,848
PS3 - 8,275
