Those who are stepping onto the pitch in EA’s latest soccer game will be asking how do I update squads in EA FC 24?
Football is a fast moving sport, and no sooner does the EA FC 24 release date arrive, does the real life world of football go through changes on a weekly basis. Whether it’s players coming and going, getting injured, suspended or otherwise, footy fans like to ensure their rosters are as up to date with the real world as much as possible. So if you want to make sure your game’s as up to date every single time you play, read on.
Here’s everything you need to know.
How to update squads in EA FC 24
Updating squads is a little different from previous entries. In theory, when you start up the game and as long as you’re connected to the internet, you should get a prompt to update automatically when you connect online. (You will of course be asked if you want to enable this the first time you load the game.)
If however you want or need to do a manual update, use the following method. First, make sure you’re connected online and signed into the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live or EA Account – depending on your format. From the main menu, move your cursor to the upper left corner by hitting left. Then press X on PlayStation or A on Xbox to enter the settings menu.
From here, you then want to head to ‘Edit Teams’ and enter that submenu. Then you should see the option to Download Updates in the lower right of the screen. Simply select that, and there you have it, the updates will be downloaded. (Be sure to let it complete to 100% before continuing.)
It’s as simple as that – the game will download the required updates from the servers, and your in-game squads will be all up to date.
