College Football 25 is here, and like many players, you probably want to dive straight into Dynasty mode and get to building an unstoppable team. But if you’re the kind of person who likes to change things up and edit their players, you might be wondering if and how you can do that in this year’s game.

We’ve put together this quick guide to tell you everything you need to know about editing players in College Football 25, so you know exactly what you can and can’t do during your Dynasty mode playthrough.

Can you edit players in Dynasty mode?

The short answer is that you can edit certain aspects of certain players. For real players, the only thing you can edit is their equipment, which can be done by going to the ‘Create and Share’ tab, ‘Rosters’, and then ‘Manage Players’. Aside from this, there’s no editing that can be done to the real-life players who start the game.

When it comes to the generic players that will show up in your team in future seasons, there is a bit more leeway. For the moment, you won’t be able to edit their faces or numbers, but you can edit their names, positions, handedness, size, weight, physique and equipment. Unfortunately, again, there is no way to edit their attributes, so you won’t be getting any 99-rated players in your team, which is frustrating.

If you’re looking to completely edit the appearance of a player, the only way you can do that is by creating your own player. Thankfully, there is a huge amount of customisation on offer here, so while you can’t edit the real or future players in the game, you will be able to go wild making your own player, which is something at least.
