After being relegated and losing (among others) Tino Livaramento, Romeo Lavia, and club captain James Ward-Prowse, you may think things are looking bad for The Saints. However, a few promising young players could lead the way for a rebuild if you want to take on Southampton in FC 24 Career Mode

Kyle Walker-Peters – 78 overall

With the departure of James Ward-Prowse to West Ham, Kyle Walker-Peters finds himself as the best-rated Southampton player in FC 24. One of many decent English right-backs around at the moment, he isn’t in the same bracket as Reece James or Kieran Trippier but will be solid nonetheless.

Paul Onuachu – 77 overall

If you like playing with a target man up top then they doesn’t come much bigger than Paul Onuachu! At 6’7”, he towers above most players on the pitch, can pin defenders with his strength, and has fine finishing. He could thrive in the Championship.

Mason Holgate – 75 overall

New arrival Mason Holgate has joined on loan from Everton and finds himself high on the Southampton player ratings in EA FC 24. The Englishman still needs to prove he has the potential many thought he had, but he certainly has the ability to be a solid center-back.

Che Adams – 75 overall

Hard-working Scot Che Adams will be another threat for The Saints up top. He may not have the best finishing around, but his mobility and physicality can be used well to hassle defenders.

Jan Bednarek – 75 overall

If you do opt for Southampton as an FC 24 Career Mode team, Jan Bednarek may be one of the first casualties of a cull! He is fine defensively, but a severe lack of pace and mobility will see him far down your favoured players’ list.

With no FIFA 24 in the works, what can you expect from FC 24? The next installment in EA Sports’ football franchise will be the same game with a new name! Your favourite modes such as Ultimate Team and Clubs (formerly Pro Clubs) will, of course, be available. The loss of FIFA doesn’t mean the loss of licences, with a huge portfolio gathered by EA over the years. This means you can continue playing in authentic leagues, stadiums, and competitions from around the world!
