Where to get the Carian Regal Scepter in Elden Ring

To get the Carian Regal Scepter, you’re first going to have to defeat Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon. Rennala is the main boss of the Raya Lucaria Academy, located in the Liurnia of the Lakes area. Once you take her down, you’ll be rewarded with the Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen.

With your Remembrance in hand, it’s now time to head over to Roundtable Hold. Make your way into the room behind the main table and chat with Enia, the Finger Reader. Here, you’ll be able to trade your Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen for the Carian Regal Scepter, but you’ll lose out the chance to get Rennala’s Full Moon sorcery until NG+.

The Carian Regal Scepter is an incredibly powerful Magic weapon, and certainly one of the best in the game, although it may not seem that way at first. You’ll need a high Intelligence stat to wield it, but it initially won’t compare to some decent early-to-mid-game staves like the Meteorite Staff.

Once it’s fully upgraded, however, there are few staves that can compete with it thanks to how well it scales with Intelligence. That makes it an excellent staff to pair with a melee weapon that scales with Intelligence like the Moonveil Katana.
