If you’re the kind of person who doesn’t like the greatswords and warhammers that Elden Ring has to offer, and would rather try and claw the eyes out of every boss you see, then you’re in luck. Shadow of the Erdtree has added a new weapon type just for you – Beast Claws.

And the first pair of Beast Claws can be found almost straight away in the Land of Shadow, but you’re going to have to fight for them. We’ve put together a guide telling you exactly where to go and what to do to get the Beast Claw for yourself.

Where to get Beast Claw in Shadow of the Erdtree

To get the Beast Claw weapon, you need to defeat a roaming miniboss called Logur, the Beast Claw. He’s located in the forested area to the southeast of the Gravesite Plain Site of Grace. Make sure you’ve got the nearby map fragment before you start looking. He isn’t always in one particular area as he tends to walk around, so keep an eye out for any human character while you’re here.

Once he becomes hostile, he’ll sprint towards you, constantly attacking with quick slashes from the Beast Claws. He also has one healing flask, so keep an eye out for that too. The strategy is fairly simple, keep out of his range while he’s swiping at you before getting in a few quick blows. He’s fairly easy to stagger and susceptible to both Fire and Bleed, so don’t be afraid to abuse these against him.

After taking down Logur, you’ll be nicely rewarded with your very own Beast Claw weapon as well as a tidy 3,000 Runes – not too shabby if we say so ourselves.
