Aside from showing up as a pesky invader, Fire Knight Queelign will also show up in quite a state in the Shadow Keep, Church District. Lying on the floor, he’ll spout cryptic words about Queen Marika and wanting her grace.

However, in typical FromSoft fashion, accessing the room where he is requires a key. In this case, the Prayer Room Key. To save you scouring the map for it, we’ll walk you through where to find it.

Prayer Room Key location

You’ll find the Prayer Room Key in the Church of the Crusade in the west of Scadu Altus. From the Highroad Cross site of grace in Scadu Altus, head northwest, up the hill patrolled by soldiers with fire poles and you’ll see the church off in the distance. Enter the church and you’ll automatically summon the Fire Knight Queelign invader. After defeating him, you’ll get the key along with the Flame Skewer Ash of War.

Fire Knight Queelign location

You’ll find Fire Knight Queelign in a locked room in the Shadow Keep, Church District. Reaching it is a bit of a trek. If you’ve unlocked the Storehouse, Back Section in the Specimen Storehouse, load in and head east through the doorway, then another on your left. Inside is a lift down to the Church District.

Ride it down, then walk forward into the building beyond the stone bridge. Take a right (watch out for the fire knights patrolling the place), and make your way around the central gap (or pond, depending on if you flushed the Church District waters) to the south east. At the end of the path, you’ll find the locked door leading into the room with Queelign.

Once you exhaust Queelign dialogue, you’ll get the option to give him one of two items. Give him an Iris of Grace and you’ll get the Fire Knight Queelign spirit ashes. Hand over an Iris of Occultation and you’ll get Queelign’s Greatsword.
