The Food Festival event in Tarisland is live from June 27th to July 3rd. Players hoping into global servers of Tarisland can partake in the event, completing quests, grabbing event resources, and cooking meals. However, the game does not do a good job of helping you out. So, here’s a quick guide on how to start the food festival event in Tarisland.
Starting the food festival event in Tarisland
To start the food festival in Tarisland, players will need to do the following
- Click on the horn icon next to the red banner event button on their HUD in-game.
- Select the Food Festival tab at the bottom of the new screen.
- Select any of the quests from the icons along the food festival screen to get quests.
In terms of the event, players can get four different quests, each requiring a different task.
- Cook Dishes – create any dish from the cooking event. You can find cooking stalls in each major town and city in game.
- Share a dish that you made from one of the cooking NPCs that want a perfect meal. The game will give you someone to share the food with.
- Gourmet Giftbox – Complete Elite Dungeons or Arcane Floor levels to get boxes at the end of the dungeons.
- Gourmet Chest – Unlock new chests around the open-world by creating recipes from the cooking stalls in the major cities.
- Gourmet Party – Costume party that takes place 12:00 and 18:00 server time. The quest is locked until day 4 of the event.
- Gourmet Feast – locked till Day 5 of the event. Requires defending a feat site at 14:00 server time and 20:00 server time.

Typically when you approach a chest, you will find that the chest tells you what it wants, which is a recipe from the food festival stall in that map region.
Some of the chests require time-gated recipes to unlock. So, keep that in mind if you are wondering why you can complete some of the gourmet chests or start some of the quests. When you complete these tasks, you’ll be awarded Rainbow Candy, the event currency, which you can spend at the food festival vendor.
