Tarisland’s classes have two specs, each with a different theme, focus and playstyle. Typically each class starts with at least one DPS spec, with its second DPS style, tank, or healer spec unlocking later. To do this, players need to reach level 16 to unlock their second spec. If you’re being speedy, this can take around an hour or so of playtime to achieve.

Unlocking the Second Spec

As mentioned, players must reach level 16 to unlock their second specialization in Tarisland. To reach this point, players need to do the following:

  • Follow the main story to fight the Blight Dragon in the tutorial
  • Complete the prelude main story quests in the Ancash Tribe village against the Gnolls
  • Follow the main story quest to the level 8 dungeon with your story companions.
  • Follow the main story the get to the dock to visit Silverlit City
  • When in the city, work with the Paladin named Catherine, and progress through the main story with the prince and Lorne.
  • From there, do the SilverLit main story quests and solve the puzzles
  • Follow the quest memory to learn more about the cultists with Sir Fabre
  • Complete the scenario and learn more about the plans leading to your battle with the Blight Dragon in the opening moments of the character creation.
  • You should now be around level 16 and can check your second specialization in the talents menu of your character.

Once you have completed those main storyline quests, you will be around level 16. From there, you will be able to change spec. To do so, open your talents menu, and from there, you should find the name of your specs on the left screen. The second specialization at the bottom of the menu should now be clickable. Clicking on it will then change your spec.

With that feature unlocked, you can now try your second spec out. You will need to grind to level 20 for the next main storyline quest. Why not try out your new spec in some new dungeons, or go and complete some side quests or reputation quests in the world map? Want to know how your second spec performs?
