The Hamon Style is used by several fighters from Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency, Joestars and allies alike. Hamon allows the user to charge up their HH gauge by pressing the style button, granting frequent access to their strongest attacks.

Additionally, the style button can be used in place of an attack button mid-combo to power up the attack, at the cost of some of the user’s HH gauge.

All Star Battle R Styles – Mode

A Style utilized by Battle Tendency’s Pillar Men. Mode alters the Pillar Men’s physical capabilities, granting new moves and higher damage output.

Mode is the most resource-intensive Style in All-Star Battle R, as it not only costs HH meter to use but will slowly drain the remaining HH meter and cause a cooldown recovery when the gauge is empty. As a trade-off, however, HH moves can be used during Mode without paying their cost.

Stand

As the series’ most well-known and popular fighting style, Stand Users make up the majority of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle R’s combatants. The Style button is used in this mode to either summon or deactivate the user’s Stand. When the Stand is out, the fighter will have an altered moveset, so knowing when to use the Stand is key to success for most All-Star Battle R characters.

Stands can also be summoned mid-combo at the cost of half the user’s HH gauge.

Mount

A mode used by Johnny Joestar, Gyro Zepelli, and Diego Brando of Steel Ball Run. This Style allows the user to fight both on and off horseback, granting additional movement and versatility.

Baoh Armed Phenomenon

A Style unique to Ikuro Hashizawa, or ‘Baoh’, All-Star Battle’s bioweapon guest fighter. This Style is exceptionally powerful and significantly more straightforward than most All-Star Battle R Styles. When the Style button is pressed, Baoh expends 25% of the HH gauge and grants their next move Super Armor. This allows them to continually go on the offensive and pressure opponents without fear of reprisal.

That wraps up our guide to Styles for Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle R.
