The Madden 24 TOTW 1 release is here, and fans are eager to see which new player items are at the forefront of the latest TOTW Program drop. Every week, Madden 24 Ultimate Team is releasing a new set of TOTW player items to celebrate special performances throughout the regular season, honoring players both past and present who dominated the gridiron over that game week.
With Madden 24 out now for nearly a month, multiple new promos have gone live, from the Legends Program to the AKA Program and more. But with the 2023 NFL regular season now officially underway, many are after the new TOTW players. And we at VideoGamer are here to shed light on the Week 1 edition, from its launch date to the new players themselves.
Madden 24 TOTW 1 launch date and time
The Madden 24 TOTW 1 release date is Wednesday, September 13, with the actual in-game drop set for 1:30PM EST / 6:30PM BST. The Madden 24 Pre-Season TOTW release was first revealed on Good Morning Madden last Wednesday before it launched later that day at 1:30PM EST. This was also case for the Week 1 drop, which fans can now find live in Ultimate Team.
Madden 24 TOTW 1 release details
With the arrival of the Madden 24 Pre-Season TOTW player drop last week, the Week 1 release does not include a new Field Pass, seeing that there is one already in Ultimate Team.
However, one change and addition fans can find in MUT is a new set of solo challenges to complete for the Week 1 release. Along the TOTW 1 and Pre-Season TOTW Challenges milestone rewards paths, comes not only TOTW player items and coin, but also Team Of The Year (TOTY) Collectibles you will be able to apply towards a special set to unlock an exclusive TOTY reward.
Madden 24 has yet to announce what the reward is at this time. However, as soon as the reward is revealed and the set arrives, we will be sure to update this guide accordingly.
Madden 24 TOTW 1 all players
For the very first TOTW Pre-Season drop, Madden 24 released 18 new player items, including its 79 OVR Gold players. However, the Week 1 release comes with a much smaller sample size, consisting of only ten new players.
With the new players now live in MUT, fans can now unlock them by completing sets or purchase them from the Auction House or out of packs in the Store. With the Week 1 drop now here, we cover all thew new players fans can expect to find in the first regular season TOTW drop in Madden 24 Ultimate Team.

In Madden 23, LTDs were commonly players that had extraordinary performances from the last two to three seasons prior, and it appears that is the case once more in Madden 24.
For the first regular season release, Madden 24 chose to honor Kyler Murray’s Week 1 performance from 2021. To start the 2021 season, Murray threw for 289 yards and four touchdowns leading the Cardinals to a big 38-13 win over the Titans.
The defensive player LTD, on the other hand, celebrates new Atlanta Falcon Jessie Bates’ performance from this season, who led the team in combined tackles (10), had two interceptions, and a forced fumble.

Hill had himself a week to remember. In fact, Hill caught 11 of his 15 targets for 215 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Talk about electric, Hill delivered one of the best performances of the season and its only Week 1.

The Giants were thrashed by the Dallas Cowboys 40-0 on Sunday night. And a big reason why was due to how dominant the Cowboys defense was, particularly Daron Bland. Along with his 22-yard pick-six, Bland also came away with three combined tackles and a pass defended, earning the TOTW 1 Defensive Player of the Week honor.
