NBA 2K24 how to get a shoe deal

Getting a shoe deal in NBA 2K24 is actually very straightforward this year. In previous NBA 2K editions, fans had to play through multiple games and build up their following before being approached about the shoe brand they wanted to represent.

However, all that is required for new generation console players to do this year is to head on into the Arena where they play their MyCAREER games. And upon entering it, visit the team’s Locker Room where they will find a shoe brand agent to the left of the head coach’s office. Once you speak with the representative, you will be able to sign a shoe deal with your favorite shoe brand, be it Jordan, Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, or another one of the available options.

For those on current-generation consoles, such as PS4 and Xbox One, signing a shoe deal is different seeing there’s no Area feature. In previous current-generation versions of NBA 2K, the only way you were able to secure a new shoe deal was by increasing your popularity with your fanbase. The more followers you had by playing MyCAREER games, the sooner you were able to sign a shoe deal of your choosing.

NBA 2K24 perks for having a shoe deal

The biggest perk about having a shoe deal is the discounts you receive upon purchasing shoes from that brand. So if you sign with Jordan, shoes from the Jordan brand that might typically cost 5,000 VC will now cost you 3,000 or less for example. This is clutch if you’re looking to diversify your on-court and neighborhood collections, which are completely separate.

As most fans might already know, any on-court shoes you have are only available in MyCAREER games, while ones you wear in the neighborhood are available exclusively there. So it can be a costly endeavor to upgrade your sneaker collection. And having a shoe deal with a brand you like to wear, comes in handy when saving valuable VC for other areas you might want to prioritise.
