NBA 2K24 has introduced a brand new set of Showtime cards to MyTEAM. The second season of 2K has been off to a flying start, and the introduction of these incredible new cards has only furthered that. There are three cards being added to the existing cadre of three Showtime cards previously added into the game.
NBA 2K24 adds new Showtime cards
The three new Showtime cards are a 91 overall Aaron Gordon (Orlando Magic version), a 91 overall COrey Magette (Los Angeles Clippers), and a 93 overall John Wall (Washington Wizards). They were teased yesterday, but have officially been added to the game as of now.
The three prior Showtime cards were a 91 OVR Anthony Davis card (New Orleans Pelicans), a 91 OVR Vince Carter (Toronto Raptors), and a 91 OVR Julius Erving (Philadelphia 76ers). Given the fact that they’ve now added two sets of the cards, albeit small sets of just three, it is reasonable to expect that this will be a recurring theme while 2K24 is active.
These cards can be purchased out of packs from the MyTEAM Store. One pack costs 11,250 VC, 10 packs can be bought for 106,875, and a 20-pack of these packs is worth 213,750. They carry a less than 2% chance of getting the above Amethyst cards, so they’re extremely rare.
This is a very rare pull, and they are also worth quite a lot. Even if you don’t want to put in the Amethyst Anthony Davis card for your lineup, you can easily sell it for a lot of VC. The packs can come with good cards in other rarities, but the ultimate goal is to get one of the six cards mentioned above.
