In addition to new Pals in the Sakurajima Island, the summer update also brings some sweet customization options for your existing Pals. You can now change Pal skins to give them a new appearance. While you can’t turn one Pal variant into another, you can still give them new looks like the Sunglasses Cattiva. The new island is a high-level zone reserved for skilled trainers but any player can easily gain the ability to change Pal skins. Here’s how.

Where can you change Pal skins

You can change your Pal skins at the Pal Dressing Facility. It can be unlocked right from level one in the Technology Tree and it only costs 10 Stone and 10 Paldium Fragments. These resources are scattered around near the first fast travel point so you won’t have to go far for them. Once you build it, interact with it by pressing F on PC and the X button on Xbox.

This is where you can see all your Pals that have skins available. To celebrate the Sakurajima launch, every player gets the Sunglasses Cattiva skin for free. The Pal Dressing Facility is just one of the new technologies you can unlock. Sakurajima island brings new weapons, a PvP arena, a new Oil Rig stronghold, and a new boss to fight. 

All Pal skins in the game

At the moment, only one Pal skin is available: Sunglasses Cattiva. Expect more skins to arrive with updates. Skins will let you make your Pals stand out visually but will not have any influence on how they fight or gather resources. These items will most likely cost Gold or Dog Coins, the new currency added with the Sakurajima update.Â
