Xbox servers are now up and running as of July 3, 2024, which the Xbox Support team confirmed via their Twitter/X account. We’ll update this page if and when we hear any additional developments.
Why are Xbox servers down?
Xbox servers may be down for a few reasons. Typically, outages like this occur whenever a sudden surge of players attempts to log in simultaneously (it’s worth noting that Xbox released Halo Infinite’s Operation Anvil update today). However, it can also be caused by backend issues that have nothing to do with massive updates, hotfixes, or the like. Regardless, all you’ll need to do is wait until the maintenance team resolves the ongoing network problems.
How to check Xbox server status?
You can check the Xbox server status by heading to its official live status page. As of this writing, its Account & profile category is suffering from a major outage, which means you won’t be able to log in until these issues are resolved. Once the problems are fixed, though, the maintenance team will update the icon to reflect its availability.
