Concord was first announced last year as a new PVP extraction shooter from Firewalk Studios. During the recent PlayStation State of Play event, Sony gave players a fresh look at the game ahead of its release later this year.

During the trailer, we got a glimpse at numerous characters that will be in the game, with it having a very Guardians of the Galaxy to it, which is not a bad thing. Two teams battled it out with one managing to escape to the extraction point, giving players a look at various weapons and abilities. This looks like it could be a breakout title.

Concord is a 5v5 extraction sci-fi shooter where players take control of a group of mercenaries known as the Free Gunner where they face other crews. The matches take place in an arena, similar to games such as Overwatch.

It was announced that a beta for Concord will take place in July 2024, with the game launching on August 23rd. Pre-orders for the game will begin on June 6th and players can release early access to the beta and the Monarch Pack.
