New DBD x DnD survivor Aestri Yazar perks and how to play Chapter 32 PTB right now

Following BeHaviour Interactive’s excellent 8th Anniversary livestream, it is possible to play the Dead By Daylight x Dungeons and Dragons Chapter 32 PTB on PC. This is a luxury available for everyone who owns the game on Steam. Here you will find the new DBD x DnD Aestri Yazar survivor perks along with how to play the D&D Chapter 32 PTB so you can sample the episode before its official launch.

It’s important to note that it is only the Dead By Daylight Chapter 32 PTB out today. Players on console as well as the Epic Games store for PC will need to wait until the expansion fully launches in June. In addition to a new episode coming out next month, BeHaviour Interactive’s official roadmap for 2024 also highlights fixes and quality-of-life improvements for up until June, too.

While QoL improvements and fixes are always welcomed, it’s the release of fresh episodes that always gets fans most excited and coming back to the Fog. The new DBD x DnD Aestri Yazar survivor has some great perks up their sleeve, and fans on PC can play the Dungeons and Dragons Chapter 32 PTB on Steam.

New DBD x DnD Bard survivor Aestri Yazar perks

Below are all of the new Dead By Daylight x Dungeons and Dragons Aestri Yazar survivor perks for the DBD Chapter 32 PTB:

• Mirrored Illusion
  • This perk activates after completing a total of 50% worth of repair progress on generators.
    Press the ability button 2 when next to a totem, chest, generator or exit gate to spawn a static illusion that lasts for 100/110/120 seconds.
    Then, the perk deactivates.
• Bardic Inspiration
  • Press the ability button 1 while standing and motionless to enter the “performance” interaction that lasts up to 15 seconds and empowers Survivors within 16 meters. Roll a d20. This effect lasts for 60 seconds if the performance is completed.
    When the ability is cancelled or the performance completes, it goes on cooldown for 90/75/60 seconds.
    • 1 | You scream, but nothing happens
    • 2-10 | skill checks give +1% progress
    • 11-19 | skill checks give +2% progress
    • 20 | skill checks give +3% progress
      
• Still Sight
  • After standing still for 6/5/4 seconds, this perk activates.
    Until you start moving, you see the aura of the Killer as well as all generators and chests within 18 meters.

How to play Dead By Daylight x Dungeons and Dragons Chapter 32 PTB now

You can only play the Dead By Daylight x Dungeons and Dragons Chapter 32 PTB provided you own the game on Steam. Assuming you own DBD on Valve’s store, simply follow the below steps from 10 AM PT/ 1 PM ET/ 6 PM BST on May 14th:

• Right-click Dead By Daylight in your Steam library 
• Select “Properties” 
• Head into “Betas”, then select Public Test Build from the list 

Unfortunately, public test builds are not available to sample on PlayStation or Xbox consoles, and they are also not available on the Epic Games store. If you play the game on any of these aforementioned platforms, you will have to wait until June 3rd for the bundle to come out. Seeing as there’s a new killer, survivor, and map, the DLC should cost £9.49 similar to other licensed crossovers.
