Dead By Daylight has had a brilliant year so far. It all began with an Alan Wake paragraph followed by arguably the best original chapter in the game’s history yet with Sable Ward and the Unknown. We were then treated to a collaboration with Dungeons and Dragons, and now here we are at the beginning of the second half of the year. Here you will find the now official DBD July 2024 roadmap of new content including the confirmed release date for the highly-anticipated 2v8 mode.
Away from this month, there is plenty to anticipate for Dead By Daylight. There is the CastleVania crossover for Chapter 33 coming in August, and leaks suggest the release date for The Casting of Frank Stone is slated for September. As for beyond year 9, a reputable leaker claims that a crossover with The Walking Dead is planned but “on ice” right now.
While all of the above is exciting, DBD fans have a fantastic July 2024 lined up, too. The schedule for this month includes the arrival of a brand new licensed survivor along with summer skins and 2v8 mode.

Below is the official Dead By Daylight July 2024 roadmap:
- Week 1:
- DBD Waterfront Massacre skins – July 4th
- Week 2:
- DBD Tomb Raider Chapter 32.5 Paragraph (Lara Croft survivor) – July 16th
- Tome 20 – July 16th
- DBD 2v8 mode preview livestream – July 16th
- Week 3:
- 2v8 mode – July 25th to August 8th
- Blood and Bones Collection – July 25th
- Week 4:
- Forgotten Memory Collection – July 30th

The Waterfront Massacre skins coming out on July 4th are for Adam Francis, Gabriel Soma, and Chapter 31 survivor, Sable Ward.
Tomb Raider is the official licensed survivor for the Chapter 32.5 paragraph coming out on July 16th. BeHaviour Interactive has shared the Lara Croft perks, and the DLC should cost £3.99 similar to other paragraphs such as Alan Wake.
For Tome 20, the killer and survivor are The Spirit and Yui Kimura. Cut-scenes have leaked ahead of Tome 20’s launch.
Lastly, the release date for the highly-anticipated 2v8 mode is July 25th. It is only sticking around to August 8th which is a bit of bummer, but hopefully it returns soon after and becomes a permanent part of the game.
