Dead By Daylight has had an amazing year so far, but there’s plenty more in line for the remainder of 2024. While DBD is getting Tomb Raider and then CastleVania, we are also set to get the release of a new spin-off by Supermassive Games. A leak has possibly revealed DBD The Casting of Frank Stone release date, and, assuming the leak is accurate, it’s coming out much sooner than you’d possibly expect.

As mentioned, there is a CastleVania collaboration arriving for Chapter 33 in August. As for July, we have a paragraph starring miss Lara Croft from Tomb Raider, and BeHaviour Interactive has revealed the survivor perks for Lara Croft. While the Tomb Raider crossover is exciting, it seems we are also getting a legendary skin from a new horror movie coming out this summer.

While all of the above is very appealing, the Dead By Daylight fanbase is also massively anticipating The Casting of Frank Stone. No official release date has been announced, but the launch day could be imminent if the latest DBD leaks are true.

The leaked release date for Dead By Daylight The Casting of Frank Stone is September 3rd. This comes courtesy of dataminer Wazzup on the DBDLeaks Discord as screenshotted by the LeaksDBD subreddit.

The Casting of Frank Stone is a Dead By Daylight spin-off developed by Supermassive Games. They are the studio renowned for making interactive, narrative and choice-driven horror games: Until Dawn, The Quarry, and The Dark Pictures Anthology.

Its official website contains the following overview:

Cosmic consequences:

A dark branching narrative lies before you. Your decisions pen the script; the only thing standing between life and death for a group of young filmmakers. Change reality with your choices, unlock new paths with your actions, and discover what horrors your final cut may hold.

Uncover dark secrets:

In a story where every move matters, actions can speak louder than words. Explore a cinematic nightmare, testing your wits as you solve environmental puzzles and react to Quick Time Events. Guide your cast of characters through eerie locations and search for clues that hide the bigger picture.

Cult classic:

In the summer of 1980, four friends set out to make their mark on horror cinema. What they capture will trigger the unthinkable. Decide their fate, develop their relationships, and guide their shoot of Murder Mill, a soon-to-be cult classic with an insidious influence…

Remember that this is just a leak and not official as of writing. The game is not available to pre-order as of yet, but it will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
