The countdown is well and truly on for EA Sports FC 24 as more reveals and pitch notes are released. The Ultimate Team deep dive is the latest to go live, and along with several new features, it looks as though a small number of player ratings have been revealed.

With the EA Sports FC release date a little over a month away, we are eagerly anticipating the FC 24 ratings reveals. Who will be the game’s best player? Can Lionel Messi remain at the summit for another season, or will Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland finally take the reigns.

One player who is certain to be near the top is Vinicius Jr. The Real Madrid and Brazil winger has been sensational for club and country over the past year and will deservedly see an upgrade when the new game is released.

Before we delve into his new stats, we must clarify that these may not be the official ratings, although they do look likely. EA will officially reveal the ratings at a later date, but considering several players that were displayed showed different ratings, we think these will be the correct numbers.

Having started FIFA 23 with an 86 OVR, Vinicius Jr looks set for a big +2 upgrade in FC 24. His blistering speed looks set to remain with 95 Pace shown on the player item featured in the Ultimate Team deep dive.

The Brazilian’s dribbling, defending, and physical attributes all look set to remain consistent too. This leaves one area in which Vinicius Jr has struggled in previous seasons, final product. Shooting and passing attributes are key to producing something at the end of a great run or silky dribble, and Vinicius Jr has now added that to his game.

With a new 82 Shooting rating and 78 Passing, Real Madrid’s new talisman looks set to be one of the best players available in Ultimate Team this season. Add in his seven PlayStyles, and we may have an unstoppable winger on our hands.

Elsewhere in the trailer, Erling Haaland looks set for a 90 OVR player item, while Spurs winger Heung Min Son could see a severe downgrade to 86 OVR. Jack Grealish’s efforts last season look set to boost his overall to 85.
