The next season of Fortnite Festival is scheduled to come out on Thursday, June 13. This means that Billie Eilish and her pass will be removed from the game, while Epic Games will release a new artist. With six days to go until Season 4, we may already know who the next artist is going to be.
The Fortnite developer recently posted a teaser about the next Festival season, making fans excited for it. It appears that the leaked roadmap is accurate, and the next artist will be a popular metal band.
Will Metallica come to Fortnite soon?
On Thursday night, Epic hinted at the addition of Metallica in the next season of Fortnite Festival. The company posted a simple teaser, showing the logo of the game mode on a yellow background. Interestingly, this is the same background Metallica used for their last album, 72 Seasons.
72 Seasons was released in April 2023 and will likely be featured in Season 4. It’s important to note that Epic still hasn’t officially confirmed Metallica as the next Fortnite Festival artist. However, we likely won’t get confirmation until the last day of the current Festival season.
Metallica has already collaborated with Epic Games, and their Master of Puppets emote is very popular. In addition to this, a new Metallica-themed skin was added in Chapter 5 Season 3, and the metal band has a Jam Track as well. With the release of the new season, we expect even more Jam Tracks and other cosmetics to come out, including at least two new skins.
The first major update of the new season will come out next week, likely on Tuesday, and we’ll find out more details about the Fortnite x Metallica collaboration then. This Fortnite update will add a lot of other new content, from new skins to item changes. In addition, it may also bring a Metallica concert in the Battle Royale mode.
