Fortnite will get a racing game mode, but there’s a twist
The racing mode for Fortnite was leaked a while ago. It appears that Epic Games has been working on it for more than a year, and its release date should be just around the corner. However, it appears that the new game mode will be similar to Rocket League.
According to Hypex, the most popular Fortnite leaker, Fortnite will get Rocket League Racing, a new game mode, in Chapter 5. Considering that Epic Games owns both Fortnite and Rocket League and that these two games have had many collaborations, this comes as no surprise.
The leaker claims that players will be able to port their Rocket League vehicles into Fortnite. On top of that, these vehicles will be customizable in a garage, which sounds exciting. Earlier this year, many reputable leakers released some interesting information regarding the game mode, including the garage, but no one knew that it would be another Fortnite x Rocket League collaboration.
Epic Games hasn’t revealed the Chapter 5 release date yet. However, if the leak are true, the new chapter should arrive in December 2023. The next Fortnite season will likely have another big live event, which will be used to introduce players to the fifth chapter.
