There is a lot to anticipate for Fortnite before the end of the month. We are currently in the middle of Chapter 5 Season 3, and this is scheduled to last until August. Soon we will be treated to the beginning of the summer event, and this is scheduled to begin next week. A leaker has shared the Fortnite schedule for updates between now and October, and fans should be ready for a dry month.

Before diving into the leaked schedule, you should know that servers are set to be taken down on Thursday. Epic has also just introduced a massive change that fans have called a “huge W,” and Epic has also begun teasing Season 4 which is reportedly another crossover with MARVEL.

While we cannot wait for the beginning of Season 4, in less than a week we will be treated to the Summer Update followed by a dry few weeks.

Fortnite schedule for updates 2024

Below is the Fortnite schedule for updates between now and October 2024:

  • v30.20: June 25th
  • v30.30: July 23rd
  • v30.40: August 6th
  • SEASON 4: August 16th
  • v31.10: September 4th
  • v31.20: September 17h
  • v31.30: October 1st
  • v31.40: October 15th

All of the above dates come courtesy of ShiinaBR. The leaker says that the schedule is “100% accurate,” but it’s always possible Epic could change the schedule if an update needs to be delayed.

The summer event release date is June 25th, and we have covered all of the known free rewards and map changes in advance. While the summer event is exciting, the bad news is that there will be no big update between June 25th and July 23rd.

Reacting to the news from Hypex that there will not be an update for 28 days, many fans are fearing the worst because the summer update for 2023 was disappointing. Fans are hoping that this year’s summer update will have enough cool rewards, challenges, and changes to keep players entertained, but the lack of new content for 28 days has players worried.

Fortunately, after July 23rd, there will be two big updates every month. The beginning of Season 4 in August is exciting, and the first Season 4 skin has already leaked revealing a brand new superhero with a new gameplay feature.
