Fortnite Season X was the last season of Chapter 1. It was the 10th season of the popular battle royale game and it concluded with The End live event. Interestingly, Epic Games recently teased this season, which could be a hint at its return.
As many players are already aware, Epic has teased the return of Fortnite Chapter 1 lately. Reputable leakers also believe that the first chapter will return, which is something that could happen next month. Considering that Chapter 1 had 10 seasons, it appears that the game developer will bring multiple seasons back at once.
It seems that Season X will be one of the seasons that will return soon.
Fortnite Season X could return next month
Fortnite Season X was quite controversial. The season brought back some older iconic places, such as Dusty Depot, and introduced new Rift Zones. Unfortunately, many players complained about BRUTE Mechs, which were very overpowered.
The season had many map changes and was fun. In the end, Epic Games released a fantastic Fortnite live event that concluded the season and Fortnite Chapter 1. The season ended with the Black Hole, which turned into the longest downtime in Fortnite history. However, Season X may return very soon.
Brazilian account for Fortnite Competitive recently used a Season X GIF to promote the FNCS Global Championship 2023. Considering that the major competition is being held in Chapter 4 – Season 4, using Season X to promote it doesn’t make a lot of sense. However, Epic Games has done similar things in the past when hinting at the future of the videogame.
According to several reputable leakers, the next Fortnite season will cycle through different Chapter 1 seasons. At the conclusion of the season, there will be another Black Hole, and it might occur in Season X once again. While this hasn’t been confirmed by Epic yet, we’ll likely get more information or hints very soon.
