Fortnite players have been having a blast playing the Reload mode over the past week. This fast-paced mode has attracted millions of players and is a perfect mid-season addition. However, the mode has only been out for a bit more than a week, which is why it’s no surprise that some of its secrets were just recently discovered.
It turns out that Epic Games added a secret chest to Fortnite Reload, which is a game-changer. The chest contains multiple Exotic weapons, and if you find it, you are almost guaranteed to win a match. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
Where to find a secret Fortnite chest
The secret chest is extremely rare in Fortnite Reload, and its location is random. Due to this, it’s impossible to pinpoint its exact location. However, several players have found it at Dusty Docks, so you may want to check this area if you’re looking for the chest. Interestingly, this special container doesn’t have a different design. Instead, it looks just like a regular chest, which makes finding it even trickier.
The special loot container has Heisted Exotic weapons, which were first added in Chapter 4 Season 1. These are the weapons you can get from it:
- Heisted Explosive Assault Rifle
- Heisted Run ‘N’ Gun SMG
- Heisted Accelerant Shotgun
- Heisted Blink Mag SMG
- Heisted Breacher Shotgun
Epic Games revealed that this is not a bug. The secret Fortnite chest is an intended addition, although it’s quite hard to find. Considering how amazing all of these weapons are, it’s no surprise that the chest is so rare. After all, opening it drastically increases your chances of winning a match, as these weapons are among the strongest items ever added to Fortnite.
According to leaks, Epic will keep adding new weapons to Fortnite Reload. In addition to this, the game developer made some balance changes to the new game mode, which is why we expect even more updates in the future. It appears that both the Fortnite Reload map and the loot pool will be changing, so it will be interesting to see if the developer changes the contents of the secret chest as well.
