Fortnite XP is one of the most popular and controversial topics at the start of every season. Since Season 3 began on May 24, the topic has been discussed by thousands of players. Epic Games has made some changes to XP values this season, making the leveling process faster in some segments, while slowing it down in others. Naturally, some players are not too happy with this.

The recent buff made leveling much faster, and our article will explain everything you need to know about it. If you are in need of quick Battle Pass levels, we will share a few tricks you can use to unlock all the current Fortnite rewards.

Thanks to the recent XP buff, leveling in Fortnite is much faster now

Epic Games increased the XP amounts in Fortnite Battle Royale for quests, making leveling faster in this mode. This change went live with the release of Chapter 5 Season 3, but it seems that this buff wasn’t enough. Due to this, the development team released another one, making the leveling process faster in a few other game modes.

If you enjoy playing LEGO Fortnite, you probably noticed that you can gain around five levels from it every day. Before the recent buff, you needed to spend approximately three and a half hours in this mode to get those levels. However, the amount required to get the maximum daily playtime XP was lowered to three hours with the latest Fortnite update. Thanks to this, leveling is ~15% faster in the LEGO mode.

Music fans will also be delighted to hear about the latest change! Before the buff, it was possible to gain 420,000 XP from Fortnite Festival, which is a bit more than five Battle Pass levels. However, this amount was increased to 546,000 XP with the new update. Thanks to it, you can now get nearly seven Fortnite Battle Pass levels a day.

Since we are still in the early stages of Season 3, Epic may make more changes soon. In the meantime, try to spend a few hours in LEGO Fortnite every day to get a lot of XP. If you can’t play, simply use the AFK trick to max out your levels every day. Additionally, you may also want to check out our list of the best XP maps in Fortnite.
