Epic Games has released hundreds of different items to Fortnite over the past seven years. Some of these items, like the SCAR, were available for longer periods, while others stayed in the game for only a few days. One such item is Zapotron, which is the rarest item to ever be added to Fortnite. Fortunately, its return is around the corner, according to a new leak!
The v33.20 Fortnite update added lots of new content to the game. Epic released the update for all game modes, from Festival to Battle Royale. Unsurprisingly, the update also affects the OG mode, which is currently in its first season.
Will Zapotron return to Fortnite?
Zapotron is the shortest-lived item ever added to Fortnite, as it was only available in the first week of the game. In fact, it was only available for one day, with some players claiming that it was removed within 30 minutes. Zapotron was the first item to be removed from Fortnite and was also the first item to use Energy Cells ammo.
According to Hypex, the most popular Fortnite leaker, Zapotron will return to Fortnite soon. These are the stats of it:
- Body damage: 50-150
- Headshot damage: 125-375
- Builds damage: 1000
- 2-second charging time
- Uses Energy Cells
Since Zapotron was in the game for only such a short time, there is only one video of it. Fortunately, more players will get a chance to get their hands on it very soon. The Fortnite leaker hasn’t revealed the exact release date of Zapotron yet. However, considering that Season 1 of the OG mode ends on January 31, the item may come out within a week or so.
The next Fortnite update will likely come out by the end of the month, and we’ll get an early look at the OG Season 2 Battle Pass. For now, Epic has added a victory umbrella for it.
