Microsoft will lift the wraps off the first multiplayer footage of Gears 5 on June 14, during an episode of the new TBS TV series, Eleague Gears Summer Series: The Bonds and Betrayals of Brotherhood.
It’s a six-part series that will air over the summer, and focuses on six esports players and fans of the Gears of War series who slug it out in various tournaments. Naturally, Microsoft feels this is the best way to offer up the first multiplayer footage of The Coalition’s highly anticipated sequel to Gears of War 4 (via VentureBeat).
Tune in on June 14 at 11.00pm EST to catch Gears 5’s Versus modes in action. And yes, that's just five days after Microsoft will be hosting its E3 press conference. Will Gears 5 show its face there, too?
Gears 5 was announced during E3 2018, and will launch exclusively for Xbox One at some point later this year.
