Helldivers 2 player says this armor makes essential Terminids weapons “So Good”

Weapon handling in Helldivers 2 can be hit and miss depending on the weapon. Players are also susceptible to being staggered which can make lining up shots much more difficult. However, some players have discovered a new armor perk that solves this issue and improves the handling of many weapons.

These include some that are popular to carry while fighting against the Terminids, which is handy as players have been sent to face them in the latest Major Order.

u/PulseAmplification took to Reddit to share a tip to improve some weapons in the game, specifically the Grenade Launcher and Flamethrower. This is done by using a new armor set found in the Viper Commandos Warbond.

“The autocannon, a weapon I shied away from because I hated the absurdly clunky feeling suddenly feels so good to me and I’m using it a ton. I also rarely ever used to run the Jar 5 for bugs for the same reason but I do now. Even the grenade launcher and flamethrower feel so much better. Not that they were bad before but I can’t get over how fun it is to use all these weapons with no drag now.”

The armor in question is the Predator Light Armor and the Twigsnapper Heavy Armor from the latest Viper Commandos Warbond. The passive perk for both of these “Improves weapons handling with less drag on weapon movement.”

This improvement is due to there being less drag when aiming. You’ll notice that when moving the camera or character and aiming there is a drag and you have to wait for the aim to catch up. This can make it difficult to sometimes fire quick shots or fire back immediately after being hit.
