Discord seems to be down right now and not currently reachable based on several user reports. It seems as though many people using the desktop app are reporting that the service is ‘stuck on starting‘, alongside other issues with there being an infinite checking for updates loop.

The official Discord Support X account has also announced that they are “aware of an issue impacting Discord latency and errors” and that their team “is on the case,” so it may not be a while until these problems are fully resolved. It seems many of the issues with people accessing Discord seem to span from the warning that they “have been blocked.” While it might look as though you actually have been blocked, it’s actually highly unlikely.
We would recommend trying to access the service through your web-browser, which could help you get onto your favourite chat platform, however, it seems as though the issue is extending past just the Discord app.
