The hype train for the new Call of Duty 2024 installment has fully begun. There has been plenty of rumors and leaks about CoD BO6, but Activision has now begun officially marketing the game. We are yet to see any gameplay showing off multiplayer action and graphics, but the newly released Black Ops 6 trailer does confirm a date for the worldwide gameplay reveal.

Before today we have been treated to teasers from Activision spreading the message, “the truth lies”. Rumors have long insinuated that BO6 takes place during the Gulf War, and leaks have revealed the campaign is poised to be the best of any CoD ever. It’s also been confirmed that the developers involved with the project are Treyarch with Raven Software.

Every year Call of Duty fans get excited about the newest installment, and Black Ops 6 is no different. The live-action reveal is only less than a minute long, but it does end with a promise to show more early next month.

Black Ops 6 trailer confirms date for worldwide reveal

The Call of Duty Black Ops 6 live-action reveal trailer has been released. You can now watch it on the official CoD YouTube channel.

Activision’s reveal doesn’t include a launch day, but the leaked release date lands in late-October. There’s not much to the trailer as it’s only less than a minute long, but it’s a stylish black-and-white compilation of historical figures continuing the message, “the truth lies”.

While there is no gameplay, the trailer does end with the confirmation of a worldwide gameplay reveal. This will take place at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9th at 10 AM PT/ 1 PM ET/ 6 PM BST. It’s been reported that the Xbox Showcase will include a significant gameplay demonstration for fans to watch, and we expect it to be similar to campaign gameplay exhibitions that previously happened at Summer Games Fest.

In addition to this trailer, Microsoft has confirmed that Black Ops 6 is coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one. Although this is exciting for the community, the bad news is that it may result in a price increase for Xbox Game Pass, along with potentially a new tier. However, an increase in price is currently just rumors and not official.
