Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 has been a lot of fun so far thanks to the apocalypse theme coupled with the emphasis on cars. As per usual, the start is only the beginning as there is plenty of upcoming content for fans to anticipate. A new Fortnite update is coming next week, and here you will find all of the new content that has leaked for the patch.
As mentioned, there is a lot for fans to anticipate before the beginning of Season 4 in a couple of months. Epic is set to provide another huge live event for fans to enjoy soon, meanwhile, all leaks point to a Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration before the end of June. An exciting feature has sadly been delayed from this month until the end of the year, so expect it to arrive in Chapter 6.
Epic has a lot lined up for 2024, and Fortnite is set to receive a new update as early as next week. Plenty of new content has leaked for this patch, so fans should be excited.
Leak shows new Fortnite update coming next week
According to prominent leaker Hypex, Fortnite is set to receive a new update on June 13th. The patch will reportedly include the following content:
- New Collabs & Cosmetics
- Possible Metallica BR Event
- Festival Season 4 ft. Metallica
- New Item / Weapon (Maybe the TowHook)
- Fall Guys Creative Mode (unless it got delayed)
As for why the new patch is expected to land on Thursday and not Tuesday, Hypex says it is “most likely Thursday for Festival S4”.
As pointed out by iFireMonkey, Epic has updated the Festival News Feed to the color theme of yellow to tease the new season. This color is mostly associated with Metallica, and there have been leaks in the past that point to a Metallica crossover happening.
Not only is the Metallica crossover exciting purely for good music, but it also points to the previously leaked roadmap for 2024 being accurate. This suggests that the first leaked skin and new gameplay feature for Season 4 is accurate, too.
As for the collaboration with Fall Guys, iFireMonkey has previously said the crossover will include a battle royale obstacle course mini-game. There will reportedly be quests included with rewards upon completion.
Of course, none of this is official as of writing and is purely leaks. Hopefully, the Fall Guys crossover does happen as intended and isn’t delayed.
