Palworld players have discovered that reaching level 50 is a grind that very few are prepared to do due to the incredible grind needed to max out your character, and now players are calling for the curve to be nerfed to make it easier to be rewarded for your effort.

U/Blubbpaule has taken to Reddit to reveal the XP curve for leveling up in Palworld, and many agree it is too steep and needs tweaking. The graph shows that it will take just as much XP to reach level 46 as it does to complete the final four levels and hit level 50.

“The first 30 levels were fun, 30 to 40 felt okay but 40 – 50 sucked all fun out of the game with HOW MUCH GRINDING you have to do to reach level 50. And now they increased the limit to 55,” the Reddit user said. With the level cap increasing as the game receives new updates and content, “most of the good stuff is locked behind level 50+ now.”

Other players took to the comments to share similar thoughts, with U/Pokenar saying “I could buy that if 50 was the actual forever cap and they wanted to extend the late-game. but now we have 55 so they absolutely need to adjust that. I think a curve is fine but it needs to start rising sooner and be far more gradual of a curve.”

Some players did gives some suggestions including changing the XP rate in the settings or joining a server with boosted XP. But, you shouldn’t have to play on a new non-default mode to gain enough experience
