PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is officially heading to PlayStation 4 this winter, developer PUBG Corp. has announced on the PlayStation Blog.

This will probably come as no surprise to anyone, seeing as how Microsoft's timed-exclusivity period is almost up, not to mention the fact the game has been rated a couple of times. Sony put up a pre-order tab on the PlayStation Store for the game only a few hours ago, in fact.

The PS4 version of the chicken dinner-giving shooter will launch with three maps: Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok. There's a snowy map coming this winter too, and the post confirms that PUBG will ship with a bunch of features including custom matches, ranked system, event mode, and Trophy support.

So, if you have been holding off for getting your hands on PUBG up until now, you'll be getting about a year's worth of content updates for your hard-earned cash.

In addition, PUBG Corp. and Sony have got together for a some exclusive pre-order bonuses, including an Uncharted-flavoured Nathan Drake Desert Outfit and Ellie's Backpack from The Last of Us.

You can also pick up a few different versions of the game. The Survivor's Digital Edition includes the game, Vikendi Event Pass, 2,300 G-Coin Pack, and 20,000 BP, while the Champion's Digital Edition features the same as above but adds a 6,000 G-Coin Pack.

PUBG is due out on PS4 on December 7.
