Steam is the latest to see its servers toppled, just days after Xbox. There’s been a series of server outages across plenty of platforms recently, and it’s pretty difficult to ascertain why.

DownDetector reports that Steam is inaccessible to many as of 3PM BST, though it’s currently working just fine in the UK. It’s likely that international servers have been hit, in this case.

The past few days have seen big hitters such as The First Descendant hit with server outages too, and these have been traced back to Microsoft’s own outages.

The last Steam outage that we recorded was on May 21st, just as Dragon’s Dogma 2 launched.

This is a developing story, and we’re going to be updating this as we find out more.
