The Finals Season 3 has introduced lots of new content while making a few changes. One of the biggest changes has been the removal of Cashout from Ranked in favor of Terminal Attack. This move has been extremely controversial. While Terminal Attack still remains the mode for Ranked, Embark has just now made a change that fixes the biggest problem with The Finals Season 3 for new players.

Make sure to watch Twitch Rivals today to earn an exclusive free reward. In addition, there should be the first Season 3 update this week, and fans all agree on the first weapon that needs nerfs. The biggest controversial change for Season 3 is the removal of Cashout from Ranked, but fans should know there is the probability Cashout returns after its current exclusivity to World Tour.

While we hope to see Cashout return to Ranked in the future, the good news is that new players will no longer be forced to play three matches of Terminal Attack upon entry to the game.

New The Finals players no longer have to play three games of Terminal Attack

Ahead of today’s Twitch Rivals competition, Embark has shared that new players to The Finals will no longer have to play three games of Terminal Attack. This has been a requirement for new players since the beginning of Season 3.

On Discord, Embark’s announcement reads as follows:

“With Rivals happening we are anticipating that a lot of new Contestants will be entering The Arena for the first time, please help us welcome them in the best way possible! Also, in order for them to be able to jump straight into the action as quick as possible, we have now removed the requirement for new players to complete 3 games of Terminal Attack before trying out all our gamemodes!”

This is fantastic news for the community. Since the start of Season 3, there have been numerous posts on Reddit about new players walking away from The Finals due to the requirement of needing to play three games of Terminal Attack. This requirement no longer exists, which is a godsend for new players to the Arena.

Reacting to the news on Reddit, one of the top comments says, “This is great news. I’m glad Embark took the community feedback and were willing to implement the change. Much love to everyone who voiced their concern”.

Other comments praise Embark for listening to the community and being willing to implement changes based on feedback.
