June is an exciting month for fans of video games. E3 is dead and buried, but in its stead we now have Summer Game Fest every year. This year’s event hosted by Geoff Keighley is set to be two hours long, and there should be plenty of amazing gameplay demonstrations, trailers, and surprises. The Finals will also be at Summer Game Fest, and it’s obvious as to what fans can expect.
The event is scheduled to take place on June 7th, and there are exciting leaks and rumors for the Summer Game Fest spectacle. As for The Finals, Season 3 is pegged to begin shortly after the Summer Game Fest weekend has come to an end.
Official details haven’t been shared about Season 3 as of writing, but that should all change by the end of this week.
The Finals will be at Summer Game Fest
The Finals is set to appear at Summer Game Fest 2024. Geoff Keighley’s trailer for the event has released, and it includes snippets of Embark’s multiplayer shooter. In addition, Embark is listed as one of many featured studios on the event’s official website.

While nothing has been shared by Embark, what fans can expect to see is the reveal of Season 3. The game’s third season is currently pegged to start on June 11th, yet no official details have been shared. This should all change at SGF, and there’s no bigger platform for Embark to market the game ahead of the new season’s launch.
Although the third season hasn’t been marketed yet, on social platforms Embark has confirmed a new comms feature, as well as ruby skins to accompany a new ruby rank. In addition, we know that we are getting a new map, along with fresh weapons, gadgets, and gizmos.
A ‘leak’ from the CNS has revealed the soundtrack for Season 3. The soundtrack is called Petals in the Wind, and this leak possibly reveals that the new map location is set in Japan. This belief is enforced by players discovering in-game easter eggs of koi fishes spotted around existing maps.
The Finals heading to Japan isn’t official as it’s only a theory as of writing. Whether the game heads to Japan or somewhere else, we fortunately don’t have too much longer to wait for official confirmation.
