Despite its massive launch, The First Descendant is out with a totally broken microtransaction system, though the developers are currently working on identifying the root of the issue.

There’s no shortage of games out there jam-packed full of microtransactions, Battle Passes, and in-game cosmetics. It looks like The First Descendant is one of a few free-to-play games to launch without its full cash shop, with the purchasing system for its in-game currency launching with huge issues.

As noted by plenty of players within the community – the Season Pass is nearly impossible to buy due to issues with Caliber not being added to people’s account properly. Aside from the known issues published on the game website, the official Discord server saw a notice saying that there is a “delay in Caliber delivery upon payment” and that they are working on a solution.

To make things better for players who have had to wait a while for their in-game purchases to arrive in their accounts, Nexon has issued an apology with the added benefits of “compensation,” which should arrive in due course.

They have also offered a temporary solution for checking if your Caliber has arrived in your account, which is detailed in the above image.
