Unlocking Ship Modules is a key part of improving your experience in Helldivers 2 with passive perks such as reducing reload times, calling in Stratagems faster, and increasing the explosion radius to deal more damage to your enemies. These are unlocked by collecting Samples and Requisition Slips while completing missions and then using them to unlock these modules.
As you go through the levels, which currently go up to the new level 5 Ship Modules, that were released with the 01.000.404 update, you will need more Samples and Requisition Slips, including the harder-to-find Super Samples that are only available on higher difficulties.
To unlock all of the new Level 5 Ship Modules, u/cowboy_shaman has calculated that you will need 1,400 Common Samples, 1,250 Rare Samples, 140 Super Samples, and 195,000 Requisition Slips, which should keep players busy. The maximum resources players can carry are 500 Common Samples, 250 Rare Samples, 100 Super Samples, and 50,000 Requisition Slips.
This means that even by hoarding as many as possible before the 01.000.404 update you still won’t have enough to unlock everything, so it is time to go diving and serve some Liber-tea to the Automatons and Terminids. With the latest Major Order taking players into the jungle to fight the robot army, now could be a great time to try out some of the new weapons from the Viper Commandos Warbond.
