Valorant fans have a new chapter to anticipate in June with the beginning of Episode 9. So far Episode 8 has largely been fantastic thanks to the debut of new agent Clove, but more is on the way before its third and final act comes to an end. We are set to get a fresh battlefield, and here you will find the upcoming Valorant VCT Masters Shanghai 2024 tournament schedule along with Twitch Drops rewards and when the new map will be revealed.

In regard to new upcoming content, a leak has revealed the codename of a new agent currently in-development, possibly for Episode 9, meanwhile, Riot has shared the complete Premier map pool from now until the end of June.
While we are looking forward to the beginning of Episode 9, before then we are getting the Valorant VCT Masters Shanghai 2024 competition. The complete schedule has been shared and there will be the reveal of Riot Games’ new playable map.

Valorant VCT Masters Shanghai 2024 tournament Twitch Drops
Per the official Valorant eSports website, you will be able to unlock two exclusive Twitch Drops rewards by watching matches during the tournament. The Twitch Drops rewards on offer can be found below:
- Title: “jiāyóu” Title
- Tune in for a live match between May 23 – June 8
- Buddy: “Sheng Jian Bao” Buddy
- Tune in for a live match during the Grand Final on June 9
You will be able to watch the competition live on either the Valorant Twitch or YouTube channel.
When will the new map be revealed?
The new map will be revealed at the grand finals on June 9th. This has been confirmed by Riot Games. Ahead of Riot puling the curtain aside, we have posted a guide to everything we know so far about the new map.
In short, the new map is reportedly called Bastion. It’s suspected to house Team Deathmatch, and there could possibly be an underground element judging from image teasers shared by Riot.
There is no release date, but it could possibly land in the game in the following update after the Masters Shanghai finals similar to how Clove was revealed at VCT Marid Masters on March 24th before releasing on March 26th/27th.
