The LG C2 still has impressive brightness, delivers outstanding contrast and colour, and makes for one of the best TVs for gaming by some way. While you may question if the LG C2 is bright enough, we’d say that if you do want to go super bright, you should check out some of the best gaming monitors instead or head over to one of LG’s other series…the G2.
The G2 does indeed feature heatsink, which allows the intensity of the transistor to be pushed higher without the TV heating up, meaning there is a slight difference in performance between the two TVs, with the LG G2 reaching 1000 nits. Does a heatsink prevent burn in?
Burn in is a visible mark found on the screen regardless of what you are watching or doing. OLED TVs like the LG C2 can be more susceptible to burn-in, potentially caused by leaving a fixed image on the screen for long periods of time. A heatsink can help reduce the chances of your TV developing burn-in, but other factors, like avoiding static images on your screen like logos and banners.

In other words, your LG C2 is not especially at risk of burn in just because it doesn’t have a heatsink.
