Chicken Coop details

  • Type: Burgage Extension
  • Cost to build: x25 Regional Wealth
  • Moveable: No
  • Upgradable: No

Chicken Coop uses

As mentioned before, the Chicken Coop passively produces Eggs regularly. In fact, the production keeps going even if the family is involved in Logging Camps, Trading Posts, or other activities.

As you can guess, Eggs are a great source of food, especially at the early stages of the game. Plus, the Eggs get consumed at a fast pace, so you won't really see them accumulating. The Eggs also add to the Food variety in your settlement.

How to build a Chicken Coop

The Chicken Coops are Backyard Extensions so they can only be built within the Burgage plots (needs to be level 1).

For the construction, you will need 25 units of Regional Wealth. All you have to do is choose the Chicken Coop from the Backyard Extensions to build it. You can create Chicken Coops on a smaller level 1 Burgage plot, as a larger Chicken Coop will not increase the Egg production.

How to upgrade Chicken Coop

Currently, the Chicken Coop is not upgradeable in Manor Lords early access.
