A Mining Pit is one of the Mining buildings in Manor Lords, and plays an important part in extracting Iron and Clay from the earth, which can then be used for anything from Weapons and Armor to Roof Tiles, and more.

- Cost to build: x1 Timber
- Moveable: No
- Upgradable: Yes. Mining Pit > Deep Mine
- Resource Production: Iron Deposits > Iron Ore, Clay Deposits > Clay
- Resource Storage: x50 Iron Ore, x50 Clay
Building a Mining Pit
Mining Pits can only be built on Iron or Clay deposits, and cost x1 Timber. Once you have built the pit, you can assign families to start working and extracting Iron or Clay from the earth.
You can upgrade your Mining Pit to a Deep Mine, which will give you unlimited resources for that specific deposit, granted you build the pit on a Rich Deposit.
