Irrigation is one of the developments under the Farming Tree of Manor Lords. Unlocking this development will significantly reduce the damage done to Crops during Drought.

How to unlock
As mentioned, Irrigation is a sub-branch of development under Orchardry on the Farming Tree. This means you will first need to unlock Orchadry to unlock Irrigation. The Orchadry development can be unlocked by purchasing it.
Benefits
The main benefit of unlocking the Irrigation development is to protect the crops against the Drought, allowing you to harvest it as usual.
Now, Droughts are rare Weather Events that can occur randomly during the Summer. However, if a Drought does occur, an active Irrigation will significantly limit the impact of it on the crops.
At the moment, in Manor Lords early access stage, Irrigation has very limited benefits. If things change after the release, we will let you know.
