How to use your Sawpit
First off, you'll want to place your Sawpit near your Logging Camp to ensure maximum efficiency.
Your villagers assigned to the Sawpit will bring logs to it or process them into Planks. These Planks are super useful for building other structures in the game.
If you want to bring logs to the Sawpit, you'll need some Ox to do most of the heavy lifting. You can do this by going to the building's Advanced tab and assigning some of the beasts to your Sawpit. This will ensure that the Timber is transported when needed.
Remember though, that having a spare Ox to work on other projects can make your life a whole lot easier. Assigning all your Ox to the Sawpit could be a good call if you want to up your Plank production drastically, but it could cause an imbalance elsewhere in your settlement expansion plans.
