Vegetable Garden uses

The sole use of the Vegetable Garden is to grow vegetables. At the early stage of the game, the Vegetable Garden is a good source of Food, and it does not need any raw materials.

You can procure vegetables faster from this garden compared to the Fields. Plus, the yield depends on the size of the plot, so a bigger Vegetable Garden means more yield.

To get vegetables, you will have to assign workers to plow and harvest. The production is temporarily unavailable during Winter.

How to build a Vegetable Garden

As the Vegetable Garden is a Burgage plot Extension, it can be built inside a level 1 Burgage Plot. It will cost you 15 Regional Wealth to construct the garden.

As mentioned, a bigger Vegetable Garden means more food, so we would recommend building this on a bigger plot to procure a larger quantity of vegetables. However, remember that it will take longer to plow and harvest a big plot.

To cut down on production time, you will have to assign the residing family to easier tasks that don't consume too much time. You can also consider assigning two families to a single Backyard Extension.

How to upgrade Vegetable Garden

Currently, the Vegetable Garden has no upgrades available in the Manor Lords early access.
