Malthouse uses

The Malthouse is where you can produce Malt, which is a raw material required to produce Ale. To make Malt, you need Barley as an ingredient.

To level your Burgage plots to Level 3, you need a constant supply of Ale from your Brewery Extension to the Taverns.

How to build a Malthouse

To build a Malthouse, you will need 4 units of Timber. Much like other buildings in the game, the Malthouse is also unmovable, so you need to give its location a thought. Ideally, you should be placing Malthouses near Brewery Extensions to cut down on transportation time and speed up the overall production of Ale.

Once built, you will need to assign workers to the Malthouse who will make Malt out of Barley. As Barley is the main raw material, you need to ensure that you have enough crop to produce Malt.

The Malt produced in this building gets stored in Farmhouses. Then, to make Ale, you need to build a Brewery Extension on your Burgage Plots (needs to be Level 2). This Ale is then supplied to Taverns.

Another thing to note here is that the Malthouse needs to be refueled to keep it running.

How to upgrade Malthouse

Currently, the Malthouse is not upgradeable in the Manor Lords early access.
