Manor-Lords:Sidearms
Side arms are a Military Resource in Manor Lords that are required weapons for your Militia Footmen. They cost x2 Iron Slabs to make via the Blacksmiths Workshop.
Sidearms production
Producing Sidearms is slightly less complicated than some other Military Resources, such as Spears, as you will only need Iron slabs and a Level 2 Burgage plot. That being said, Sidearms do require a lot of Iron Slabs to make, so get ready to start mining!
Here are the basic steps to take to produce Sidearms.
- Build a Mining Pit
- Build a Bloomery
- Build a Level 2 Burgage Plot
- Buy a Blacksmith's Workshop
Build a Mining Pit
Find a Rich Deposit of Iron Deposits and build your Mining Pit. These cost x1 Timber. You will then be able to mine Iron Ore, which is needed for Iron Slabs.
Build a Bloomery
To build a Bloomery, you will need x2 Timber. This building will allow you to convert Iron Ore into Iron Slabs. As usual, make sure to build this near your Mining Pit for maximum efficiency.
Build or upgrade your Burgage Plot to Level 2
Once you have enough Iron Slabs, you can build a Level 2 Burgage Plot or upgrade an existing one.
Buy the Blacksmith's Workshop extension
For x5 Planks and x5 Regional Wealth, you can now buy a Blacksmith's Workshop. Now you can produce Sidearms for 2x Iron Slabs.
