Blacksmith's Workshop uses

As mentioned, the Blacksmith's Workshop is a backyard extension where you can produce Polearms, Spears, Tools, and Sidearms. These items are forged from Iron slabs and Planks.

The weapons like Sidearms, Spears, and Polearms are used to arm the Militia Footmen, Spear Militia, and Polearm Militia in your settlement.

Further, you can also choose to export the items produced in this building via Trading Posts in exchange for Regional Wealth.

Converts all inhabitants into Artisans, locking them from being assigned to other jobs.

How to build a Blacksmith's Workshop

To build a Blacksmith's Workshop, you will need a level 2 Burgage Plot. And as this is a Burgage Plot Extension, it can only be constructed inside a Plot. The construction will cost you 5 units of Planks and 5 units of Regional Wealth.

Once built, you will have to assign workers to the building. Much like the other Burgage Extensions, the workers in the Blacksmith's Workshop will be converted into Artisans, and you won't be able to re-assign them.

The main crafting materials used by this workshop are Iron Slabs and Planks. You can procure Iron Slabs by mining Iron Ore from a Mining Pit and then turning it into Iron Slabs in the Bloomery.

Meanwhile, Planks can be obtained by getting Timber from Logging Camp and then get those converted into Planks from the Sawpit.

How to upgrade Blacksmith's Workshop

Currently, in Manor Lords early access, the Blacksmith's Workshop has no upgrades available.
