Manor-Lords:Spears
Spears are a Military Resource in Manor Lords and are needed to arm your Spear Militia with the appropriate weapon for their division.
They are made from Iron Slab and Planks and require a Blacksmiths Workshop extension.
Spear production
Creating Spears for your Spear Militia unit does take a fair few steps, as you will need to amass enough Iron Slabs and Planks in order to have the materials for the Spears themselves, and be able to upgrade your Burgage plot to Level 2, so as to unlock the Blacksmith's Workshop extension.
Here's a basic breakdown of what you will need to do.
- Build a Mining Pit
- Build a Bloomery
- Build a Sawpit
- Build a Level 2 Burgage Plot
- Buy a Blacksmith's Workshop
Building a Mining Pit
First off, find a Rich Deposit of Iron Deposits and build a Mining Pit. This costs x1 Timber. From this Mining Pit, you will be able to mine Iron Ores.
Building a Bloomery
You'll then need to build a Bloomery, which costs x2 Timber. These are needed to convert Iron Ores into Iron Slabs.
Build the Bloomery near your Mining Pit for increased efficiency!
Building a Sawpit
Then you'll need to build a Sawpit. These can be made for x2 Timber and allow you to convert Timber into Planks.
Building a Level 2 Burgage Plot
Once you have enough Iron Slabs and Planks, you will need to build or upgrade one of your Burgage Plots to Level 2.
We'd recommend doing this near your Sawpit or Bloomery for a more efficient Spear production process.
Purchase a Blacksmith's Workshop extension
Now it's finally time to purchase the Blacksmith's Workshop. This extension costs x5 Planks and x5 Regional Wealth and will allow you to convert Iron Slabs and Planks into Spears. Spears cost x1 Plank and x1 Iron Slab.
